What is Kismet Cooking
Cooking is fun and can be a great way to spend quality time with each other. Keith and I enjoy cooking together! Tiny home kitchens can prove to be a bit difficult sometimes due to space constraints for both storage of equipment and varying ingredients. Kismet Kitchen hopes to assist in what equipment is most important to have, what ingredients to keep on hand and delicious recipes that can easily be made in your small space.
Kismet Kitchen Cooking
We have accumulated many recipes from friends, family, and the occasional web search. We decided that we should start a quiet little corner of our blog to house those we like the best and to try some new ones as well. After a little thought and some fun with words, we decided to dub it Kismet Kitchen.
We will be publishing our recipes each week (usually on Thursday). They won’t include nutritional information and things that you find on typical recipe websites. Think of Kismet Kitchen as that recipe box your grandma gave you. It will have ingredients and directions, maybe a picture or two, and our personal insights into how we prepared the recipe. They are just recipes we make in our tiny home, and you can decide based on the ingredients if they are right for you and your family.
What Else?
In addition to recipes, we will also be posting about must-haves for your kitchen. We have spent plenty of time adding things to our small space to find they are rarely if ever used. We’ve also found things we thought we tried and cannot imagine life without them now.
Tell Us! We’d Love Your Input
Did you try a recipe? Please feel free to comment and leave your ideas for ways to adjust or tweak them. We would love to see pictures of any you prepare. Do you have kitchen space-saving ideas or must have equipment? Please share them with us.
So, first recipe we’d love to share with you this week is our Banana Bread. We absolutely love this sweet bread. It’s easy and quick to prepare, so it’s perfect for breakfast, or a midday snack. Be sure to come back every Thursday to see what we’re cooking up.
